Nature of Industry: A24 specializes in producing independent films and tv shows, and distributing the films. 

Size of the Industry: A24 houses around 300 employees with all different specialties, excluding any freelance or other collaborators.  

Ownership: A24 is a privately owned independent company, held by Daniel Katz, David Fenkel, and John Hodges. It operates multinationally, having many workspaces around the world. 

Regulation: it is regulated by whatever media regulatory body is in power in the country they’re distributing in, as well as the MPA in America, where they operate mainly from. 

Finance: A24 secures funding injection from Thrive Capital valuing studio at $3.5bn. Film revenue, domestic and international ticket sales, streaming deals, home releases, and investment returns on media also helps fund A24.

These are split into Accounting, Sales Operations, and Business Development. 

Marketing:
